Having begun a career in the Gaming industry as a dealer at the Sportsman Casino with London Clubs, Steve has since operated all aspects of the casino value chain from dealer to casino management. Steve has also gone on to develop and presented training courses and modules to a broad range of industry stakeholders and has consulted to companies in the LPM, Bingo, Horse Racing and Sports Betting fields.
Most recently he has completed two terms as a non-executive director of the Gauteng Gambling Board where he was selected as the Boards industry expert chairing the Gambling and Responsible Gambling committees. His Board and committee responsibilities also included inputs to the ongoing development of gaming regulation as well the as the South African National Gambling framework.
Steve is also an Industrial Development Corporation Business Partner of the Year as well as an FNB/Enablis Entrepreneurial Award winner and is a Chartered Director (CDSA) of the Institute of Directors South Africa.
It is this combine wealth of experience that has resulted in Steve recognising the provision of Player Value as the key to the continued growth, sustainability and relevance of the gaming industry to both the established and millennial player.
To this end Steve through Jarvie Worldwide has developed a series of unique games, propositions and operational opportunities aimed at engaging this playing audience incorporating the needs of both online and brick and mortar operators across all gaming and betting segments.
It is this concept and these ideas that Steve looks forward to presenting to the delegates at ICE Africa 2019.
